About the CEO/Educational Director:

Jennie Durant's passion IS Sonography! She enjoys educating and inspiring others to believe that they can do, and learn, anything that they put their mind to. And better yet...it can be FUN!

Jennie has been in the field of Sonography for 30 years, obtaining her first credential in 1992. She is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen, OB/Gyn and Neurosonography. She is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) , and is a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Fetal Echocardiography. While in California, she worked closely with a Pediatric Ophthalmologist to establish new Retinal Artery protocols for intracranial pressure assessment. She also worked closely with a Perinatologist and Pediatric Cardiologist performing and diagnosing hundreds of complex  cardiac and anatomic defects in utero. She was instrumental in developing a first of its kind fetal echo reporting system.

She has served on the board of the Minnesota Society of Diagnostic Ultrasound (MSDU), as well as served on the SDMS Foundation Board and been a part of the SDMS Education and CME committees.
